Singaraja, December 27, 2024 – The Fine Arts Education Study Program, Department of Arts and Design, Faculty of Language and Arts (FBS) at Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha), proudly presents its final project exhibition titled “Peta Tanpa Arah.” This inspiring event was officially opened by the Dean of FBS, I Gede Nurjaya, on Friday, December 27, 2024 and will run until Thursday, January 16, 2025, at Paduraksa Gallery, FBS Undiksha.

A total of 21 Fine Arts Education students are showcasing 65 diverse artworks, encompassing various forms of fine arts such as graphic arts, textiles, visual communication design (DKV), sculpture, photography, painting, prelimology, and ceramics.

In his opening remarks, Dean of FBS, I Gede Nurjaya, highlighted that this exhibition represents a tangible expression of how art serves as a limitless medium of communication. “Art is a text that does not rely on letters. It speaks through a unique language – lines, colors, shapes and composition – that transcends words. This is the power of art,” he emphasized.

Nurjaya also underlined that art is more than just a visual object, it embodies context, emotion, and profound meaning. “Appreciating art is not about merely praising the final result but understanding the creative process behind each piece,” he added.

Through this exhibition, students are not only demonstrating their technical abilities but also deepening their appreciation of art and humanity. This event is expected to broaden perspectives, inspire visitors, and motivate students to continue creating meaningful works that reflect both personal expression and social narratives.

The exhibition is open to the public until January 16, 2025 at Paduraksa Gallery FBS Undiksha. Don’t miss the opportunity to experience the rich and diverse expressions of student creativity!
