Singaraja, 12 May 2023, the Japanese Language Education Study Program was visited by 2 companies from Japan. There is no reason for their arrival, this is a follow-up to the internship program that will be carried out by the Japanese Language Education study program which is planned to be implemented next September. The internship program is also one of the courses that students can take in the MBKM curriculum. It is something special for students to remember that the internship they will undertake will take place at the Alivillan Hotel and Kowa Corp in Japan.

I Wayan Sadyana, S.S., M.Hum., as the coordinator of the Japanese Language Education Study Program, expressed his thanks to the 2 Japanese companies who were willing to come to Undiksha’s lower campus. Of course, their arrival will be a trigger for students to explore Japanese culture, one of which is corporate culture in Japan. The importance of this activity is considering that language and culture learning cannot be separated. “Language contains linguistic culture, while culture is reflected in linguistic elements,” added Sadyana. The importance of this is that the Japanese language education study program strives to provide knowledge and opportunities for students to learn the Japanese language and culture through many sectors.

Apart from these two companies, the Japanese language education study program has also brought in several LPKs and hotels in Japan as part of implementing the internship program. The follow-up to this collaboration will continue to be improved so that students gain as much experience as possible in knowing Japanese culture and language directly. (FBS)
