Surveillance Accreditation Field Assessment from the Assessor Team of the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT) for the D4 Study Program at Undiksha is continuing. This surveillance is a form of follow-up to increase the level of the study program from Diploma III.

Thursday (8/6/2023), surveillance was carried out at the D4 English Study Program for Business and Professional Communication, Faculty of Languages ??and Arts. On this occasion, Undiksha’s Deputy Chancellor for Academic Affairs and Cooperation, Prof. Dr. Gede Rasben Dantes, S.T., M.T.I., who gave a speech on behalf of the chancellor, said that eight study programs were upgraded from D3 to D4. This increase is because Undiksha is trying to increase interest in study programs, provide better career opportunities for graduates when entering the industrial world, and provide opportunities for graduates to more quickly upgrade their educational qualifications to master’s level.
Through this surveillance, the assessors are expected to be able to provide input and guidance so that the D4 Study Program at Undiksha can be better in the future and produce graduates who are superior and competitive.

The surveillance process is not as long as the accreditation process. Assessors only ensure the readiness of human resources, namely lecturers to become teaching staff in the D4 Study Program which is equivalent to S1. Apart from that, it also ensures that the curriculum contains specificities regarding the D4 program, ensures the readiness of the infrastructure for implementing education and teaching, and ensures the quality assurance process for the study program.

The opening of this surveillance was also attended by the Head of the Bureau, the Head of the Institution, Faculty Leaders and their staff, SPI, and the Academic Support Unit within Undiksha.
