Weekly Discussion: FBS Undiksha Dean Discusses Issues and Strategies for Academic Management, Resources, and Student Affairs

Singaraja, 27 September 2023 – Leadership of the Faculty of Languages ??and Arts (FBS) at Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha (Undiksha) held a weekly discussion regarding current issues in the world of higher education, which includes academic programs, resources, and student affairs. This discussion aims to review the development of various activities that have occurred and will occur. An example is the fast track program. FBS Undiksha leaders discussed strategies to increase the effectiveness of the program so that it meets the demands of current educational developments. Efforts to form international classes are also in the spotlight to ensure the relevance of the curriculum to global standards. The final assignment program was also discussed at this meeting, with this program it is hoped that it can accommodate students’ interests and talents while ensuring the quality of the research produced. Apart from that, the discussion also discussed plans for faculty development and student activities that will be carried out shortly, such as AKM, language month, etc. Progress in improving student achievement was also discussed at this meeting.

No less important, budget absorption is also the focus of discussion. Undiksha FBS leadership is committed to ensuring efficient and transparent budget use, by prioritizing fund allocation according to the needs of the faculty’s strategic programs.

The results of this discussion will become the basis for FBS Undiksha to continue to innovate, improve, and increase the quality of education in a dynamic academic environment. This discussion reflects the faculty’s commitment to providing the best learning experience for students.
