March 5, 2024FIRST TIME TO HOLD A FULL OFFLINE GRADUATION POST-COVID-19 PANDEMIC – FBS GRADUATES BECOME UNDIKSHA TOP ACHIEVEMENT STUDENTS
March 5, 2024Singaraja, FBS – Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) is preparing for international accreditation through AQAS or the Agency for Quality Assurance by Accreditation of Study Programs for several study programs. Two of them are in the Faculty of Languages ??and Arts, namely the Japanese Language Education Study Program, and the Balinese Language Education Study Program. The other two are in postgraduate studies, including the Master’s Study Program in Language Education and the Doctoral Study Program in Language Education. In response to this, FBS carried out a common perception in the context of virtual visitation activities for international accreditation including language education, Sunday (28/08/2022).
Dr. Gede Rasben Dantes, S.T, M.T.I, as Undiksha’s Deputy Chancellor for Academic Affairs and Cooperation said that this international accreditation was carried out to improve the quality of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education (Undiksha) in improving the quality of education and teaching, research and community service programs. It was also explained that in the IKU assessment from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology and all universities, one of the indicators assessed was international certification or international accreditation. It is hoped that the implementation of this accreditation will not only be for a piece of paper or a certificate but will also improve the substance in Undiksha’s academic and non-academic fields.
Continuation in welcoming Aqas activities was also carried out via virtual site visit simulation (virtual simulation) on Monday (29/08/2022). This simulation activity presents Dr.rer.nat. Nandi, M.T., M.Sc. as a consultant from the Indonesian University of Education. Nandi explained in detail what things needed to be prepared, both technical and other things, for the visitation which will be held on September 5, 2022. This virtual simulation, which was held from morning to evening, also invited school principals throughout Bali, alumni, graduate users, and students.
Hopefully, this international accreditation can run smoothly and get the best results for the progress and improvement of study programs, faculties, and universities. (FBS)
