Singaraja, FBS – Program Student Mobility which has been successfully carried out by two students of the Japanese Language Education Study Program, namely Putu Ratih Megantari and Ayu Kristari Dewi Alit Mandala, has brought a good name to the institution at Ohkagakuen University, Japan and now their arrival has been greeted with joy by the Dean of the Faculty of Languages ??and Arts Undiksha. The welcoming activity was also accompanied by the release of 8 (eight) students from the Japanese Language Education Study Program in the program internship This was held in the Gayotra FBS room, on Tuesday (23/08/2022).

Program Internship This is an extension of the ProgramStudent Mobility which had been implemented previously during the Covid-19 pandemic. In the program internship batch 4 Currently, the eight students who are departing will carry out internships for 1 semester, namely from 28 August – 28 January 2022, at the Nikko Alivila Hotel, Okinawa, Japan. Ni Nengah Suartini, S.S., M.A., Ph.D. as Chair of the FBS Cooperation Unit together with Made Hery Santosa, S.Pd, M.Pd., Ph.D. introducing the eight students who will be leaving and explaining in detail how the program worksinternship walk. Also conveyed by the Head of the FBS Collaboration Unit from Bangli, was that the students who left earlier in the programstudent mobility received appreciation and a very good impression from Ohkagakuen University.

In his remarks by the Dean of the Faculty of Languages ??and Arts, Prof. Dr. I Made Sutama, M.Pd. expressed his pride and gratitude for this extraordinary gift to FBS and the institution. “Don’t waste this golden opportunity,” he said in giving directions to the students present in the Gayotra room. This feeling of happiness was expressed again in his speech because of the very proud appreciation from Ohkagakuen University which was conveyed directly to the Dean of FBS that Ohkagakuen was very grateful for sending superior students to Japan.

Dr. Dewa Putu Ramendra, S.Pd., M.Pd. as Deputy Dean I of FBS, and Dr. Drs. I Nyoman Sila, M.Hum., Deputy Dean III of FBS who also accompanied the Dean of FBS at the event, expressed his appreciation for the enthusiasm of the students who took part in the international program for this semester. The Head of the Foreign Language Department and the Coordinator of the Japanese Language Education Study Program who were also present also provided direction and motivation to students who had arrived or who would be departing for Okinawa, Japan.

Furthermore, the Coordinator of the Japanese Language Education Study Program, I Wayan Sadyana, S.S., M.Si. emphasized that international experience is very important for students to increase the knowledge of language and culture that can be obtained in Japan, and this activity can be a bridge between Undiksha and universities in Japan by building networking which is good for the students themselves and the institution.

Ratih and Ayu also expressed their hopes for the activities student mobility can be used as well as possible to deepen Japanese as well as serve as motivation to continue to improve one’s quality and open up opportunities to achieve one’s goals and become an inspiration for other students. (FBS)
