Tri Hita Karana is a strong foundation for the Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) in achieving the goals it wants to achieve. Tri Hita Karana also frames all the activities to be carried out. This is stated in Undiksha’s vision, namely to become a superior university based on the Tri Hita Karana philosophy in Asia by 2045. The Faculty of Languages ??and Arts through its Education Staff (Tendik) and the Dean’s Leadership carry out tirtayatra activities which are an implementation of the intended Tri Hita Karana. Segara Temple, which is located in Gunung Kidul Regency, Yogyakarta, is the place where the FBS group conducts the tirtha yatra. (26/03/23).

This activity is an annual program to develop the self-competence of educational staff who are enthusiastic about the activity benchmarking at the Faculty of Language, Arts and Culture, Yogyakarta State University which will be held the following day. In this activity, the group was welcomed by the chairman of KMHDI Gunung Kidul Regency, the temple administrator, and several residents. Purwanto, as chairman of KMHDI Kab. Gunung Kidul felt very happy to be visited by relatives from Bali, especially since Purwanto is an alumnus of Undiksha. The person who is familiarly called Mas Pur explained a little history about the Segara Wukir temple. “It takes quite a lot of struggle and sacrifice to build a temple in an area that can be said to be a minority,” continued Purwanto.

The Dean of the Undiksha Faculty of Languages ??and Arts invited all groups to learn the importance of tolerance. Tolerance teaches how we can uphold diversity as contained in Pancasila. This temple, which is located in Ngobaran Village, can be said to be unique, apart from its location on the beach, on its side there is a mosque for Muslims. The activity ended with a group prayer and giving donations to the temple.
