Bandung, 20 October 2023 – Leadership of the Faculty of Languages ??and Arts (FBS) of the Ganesha Education University (Undiksha) took progressive steps by conducting a benchmarking visit to the Faculty of Language and Literature Education (FPBS) of the Indonesian Education University (UPI). This activity aims to obtain good practices in efforts to optimize accreditation, strengthen inter-institutional cooperation, and prepare Undiksha for State University-Legal Entity (PTN-BH) status.

This event took place with great enthusiasm and enthusiasm, marking FBS Undiksha’s commitment to continuing to improve the quality of education and achievements. During this visit, the dean of FBS Undiksha, I Gede Nurjaya expressed his desire to collaborate closely with FPBS UPI and utilize good practices that have proven successful at FPBS UPI in the accreditation process.

The benchmarking activity carried out by the leadership of FBS Undiksha received a very good response from the leadership of FPBS UPI. At the meeting, the present was the dean of FPBS UPI, Prof. Dr. Tri Indri Hardini, M.Pd, Deputy Dean I Prof. Dr. Yulianeta, M.Pd., Deputy Dean II Prof. Dr. Dingding Haerudin, M.Pd, as well as several study program coordinators (Koorprodi) and coordinating study program secretaries who play important roles in evaluating and developing academic programs at FPBS UPI.

Various experiences and good practices were presented by FPBS UPI, including active encouragement of lecturers to contribute to scientific publications, a strong Internal Quality Audit (AMI) process, as well as efforts to achieve international accreditation.

Apart from that, FPBS UPI also highlights its success in building strong international networks and improving the quality of learning by requiring all lecturers to obtain competency certification.

It is hoped that this visit will strengthen cooperation between FBS Undiksha and FPBS UPI, opening the door for the exchange of knowledge and good practices to obtain optimal accreditation and prepare Undiksha for PTN-BH status.
