Singaraja, FBS – The Chancellor of Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha targets Undiksha from 2022 to become an International Reputable University in Eduction and Leadership (IRUEL), therefore in order to achieve this vision, the Faculty of Languages and Arts conducts FGD to prepare activity plans and budgets for FY 2023, which will take place on Sunday Wednesday (3/2/2022).

The activity which took place in the Nitisastra FBS seminar room, was opened by the Dean of the Undiksha Language and Arts Faculty. In his speech he said that program development must be carried out referring to the 8 (eight) Key Performance Indicators (KPI). Departments and Study Programs are also expected to do self-reflection so that the GPA of students at the Faculty increases. He also explained, to achieve quality improvement, Departments and Faculties must have a clear program.

This FGD invited practitioners from the world of education, Putu Fisson Sila Hari Purnawan, M.Pd. which specifically describes the synergy of an independent campus, independent learning to prepare superior human resources. Vice Chancellor II Undiksha, Prof. Dr. I Wayan Lasmawan, M.Pd. also attended as resource persons in the preparation of this FBS program. In his presentation on the Policy Direction of Ganesha Education University’s Program and Budget Development in 2023. Lasmawan also emphasized that in order to improve the academic quality of the faculty, strengthening Human Resources (HR) is very necessary. He encourages lecturers who have not qualified for doctoral education (S3) to immediately continue their studies. Regarding student activities, the Vice Chancellor, who is also the Chair of the Vice Chancellor II Forum for PTNs throughout Indonesia, requested that what was carried out could provide benefits to the faculty and have an impact on improving academic quality.

The implementation of FGD activities and the preparation of this program is expected to be able to realize increased performance, planning performance and budget optimization as well as good governance to deliver FBS more advanced. With good planning, it can be a starting point for FBS’s success in realizing the vision that has been set. (fbs)
