March 4, 2024Singaraja, FBS – “Exposing means providing an explanation or analysis that provides information or knowledge briefly, packaged through a work of art as a forum for artists or visual artists.” That is a sentence stated on a large banner in front of the Paduraksa Gallery, Undiksha Faculty of Languages ??and Arts. With the theme “Exposition” on Monday (9/01/2023) the FBS Art and Design Department held an art exhibition. This activity is an exhibition of the final assignment program for fine arts and DKV students for the VII semester of class 2019.
Attended by the Dean’s leadership, Department Head, Department Secretary, Study Program Coordinator in the Faculty of Languages ??and Arts, lecturers in fine arts and DKV, BEM Rema and FBS, Department Student Association in FBS, as well as students majoring in fine arts and DKV. The exhibition was officially opened by the Dean of FBS Prof. Dr. I Made Sutama, M.Pd. In his speech, he expressed his pride in the work of FBS fine arts students who were making rapid progress. The Dean from Ubud hopes that these works of art can be appreciated and recognized by others in the form of a collection. It is also hoped that next year’s exhibition can be held outside campus so that it can be enjoyed by the outside community.
Dr. I Ketut Sudita, M.Sc. who is the Coordinator of the Fine Arts Education Study Program, explained that there are nine skills displayed in this exhibition, including painting, sculpture, ceramics, wood crafts, graphics, intermedia, and performance. The form of support provided has been through providing facilities and appointing lecturers as supervisors, providing funds from the faculty to support this art exhibition activity. (FBS)
