March 6, 2024Kowa Corporation, Invites FBS Students to Take Internship Program to Japan
March 6, 2024Singaraja, FBS – Grooming is self-appearance. In the world of work, someone is required to look their best. Self-care or maintenance must be done so that a person has the best appearance, has a self-image, and looks attractive to anyone who sees him. This of course can provide the benefit of increasing self-confidence. Not only that, self-confidence must be balanced with professionalism in communication. These two things were then picked up by the Department of Foreign Languages, Faculty of Languages ??and Arts Undiksha as the topic of a workshop with the theme; “Modern Grooming Etiquette and Profesional Communication”. This workshop activity was held online and offline in the FBS Nitisastra Room, on Sunday (20/11/2022).
Dr. Ni Putu Era Marsakawati, S.Pd., M.Pd., who was the chairman of the committee for this workshop activity, said that the aim of this activity was to increase knowledge and skills in grooming ethics and the ability to communicate professionally. Reaffirmed by Deputy Dean I FBS Undiksha Dr. Dewa Putu Ramendra, S.Pd., M.Pd. where professional grooming and communication will strengthen personal abilities, branding, increase self-confidence, and foster a professional work spirit. “Open communication which implies the ability to respect and understand each other, it is believed that business opportunities will open up by themselves,” said Ramendra in his speech representing the Dean of FBS opening the workshop activities.
The resource person in this workshop activity, Putu Ayu Kinanti Pradita, S.Pd. is an alumnus of the English Language Education Study Program in 2010. This former flight attendant at Qatar Airways is very happy to be able to share knowledge with the alma mater she loves. A clean and neat external appearance also needs to be balanced with attitudes and behavior (inner beauty). Ayu also said, “Grooming and communication are essential, where this is the first milestone to make yourself more confident and capable as a basis for when you graduate you can become a professional person”
Also present as invitees to this workshop were the Director of AVIA Aviation, the Head of the Department, and all workshop participants from semester I students. It is hoped that in the future, with activities like this, participants will be able to know and increase their knowledge in the field of grooming and communication from the start so that later will be professional people.
