The Faculty of Language and Arts, Ganesha Education University, through the FBS Collaboration Unit, held another collaboration with Kowa Corporation in the FBS Niti Sastra room, on Thursday (17/11/2022).
This activity was promoted by the Japanese language education study program, which discussed internship activities for students in Japan.

The arrival of Taniguchi Masayuki, the manager of Kowa Corporation, came to FBS not without reason, he invited all students, especially Japanese Language Education Study Program students, to participate in this very useful activity. Previously, this internship program had fielded students from the Japanese Language Education Study Program
in November 2019. Now the students who took part in the internship, namely Ika and Ratih, are working in Japan.

Taniguchi will reopen this internship program in 2023.
This company can be said to be quite large, because it already has several branches in Japan, such as in Hokkaido, Tokyo, and Okinawa. Taniguchi is the head of the Kowa Corporation in the Tokyo area which has around 3000 employees.
In this meeting, he told me  what life was like for internship students in Japan. Not only studying, intern students are also given the opportunity for holidays and recreation which aims to train students to interact, socialize with the community, and get to know Japanese culture better.

Nengah Suartini, Head of the Collaboration Unit for the Faculty of Languages ??and Arts, said that this program is good for all students to carry out to learn more about culture and increase their experience of Japanese culture. Apart from that, this internship program can hone and improve students’ Japanese language skills.

The Japanese language education study program coordinator, Wayan Sadyana, was pleased with the arrival of the Kowa company, where the Japanese language education study program is still trusted to be included in the internship program which will be implemented next year. It is planned that if there are no obstacles, starting in April 2023 students will be prepared to take part in this activity
