March 5, 2024The Faculty of Languages ??and Arts, Ganesha University of Education again carried out its second graduation. A total of 35 examiners (10 people from the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program, 24 people from the English Language Education Study Program, and 1 person from the Balinese Language Education Study Program) were adjudicated by the Dean of the Faculty of Languages ??and Arts, Prof. Dr. I Made Sutama, M.Pd. Tuesday (26/04/2022), online.
The Dean said that this judiciary was a judiciary with extraordinary achievements. Almost all examiners successfully graduated with a study period of less than four years. “Graduation does not end the relationship between students and alma mater. This bond will never be broken.” said the Dean. It is hoped that the examiners will always protect the name of their alma mater because even after graduating, they will still be dependent on each other. Dean Made Sutama advised the examiners to look at the graduation situation not just from momentary euphoria. The point of graduating is not just the graduation ceremony and taking photos and shaking hands with the Chancellor, but the most important thing is the inauguration ceremony during this judiciary.
One of the examiners who managed to achieve the highest GPA (cumlaude) namely 3.98 comes from the English Language Education Study Program, Luh Putu Shanti Yuliastiti. Shanti, in her impression and message, expressed her gratitude and thanks to all the lecturers and staff who have helped guide and serve her until she was able to graduate at this stage.
It is hoped that in the future the Alumni will be able to become a good promotional bridge for the wider community. With good promotion, of course, many people will enter Ganesha University of Education, so that it can increase student absorption capacity, which with good student absorption capacity can improve the quality of the institution in general and FBS in particular.
