(Notes by I Wayan Artika)

The leadership of Mr. I Made Sutama as Dean of FBS (2019-2023) along with the WDs (Mr. Dewa Ramendra, Mr. Gede Nurjaya, and Mr. Nyoman Sila), welcomed the challenge of becoming an outstanding faculty at Undiksha’s 27th Anniversary event. Through faculty and department student organizations, FBS operates under the spirit of “Young Warriors of Cambodia”, in the form of yellow T-shirts.

This spirit is carried together in practicing the anniversary theme, “Synergy in Togetherness”. Almost the entire FBS academic community moved so that on the opening day of the anniversary week (8/11) the Central Campus Ceremony Field was dominated by yellow, the proud color of FBS. The FBS contingent was the most heat-resistant and survived, while there were faculties who did not attend the opening ceremony, as commented by Mr. I Made Sutama, who regretted this situation. Indeed, when one of the faculty members performed a parade, some corners of the ceremony field were “black” and noisy, but this did not last long because they left the place after the faculty parade ended. Meanwhile, the Cambodian Young Knights with high discipline took part in the anniversary opening ceremony and parade, in which this “troop” blended into a synergistic unit of FBS lecturers and study program coordinators as well as department heads.

The form of togetherness with the FBS leadership was very real, for example, they went on foot with the entire Cambodian Young Knights contingent from the Lower Campus to the Middle Campus.

During the competition in various sports, arts, and sciences, FBS leaders are always present in the midst of the contingent, providing encouragement and support in the synergy of togetherness. Sometimes FBS residents cheer when they hear the news on social media that the contingent won gold. But they often have to receive “bitter” news on social media because the contingent failed to win gold. However, the enthusiasm and synergy in all this great togetherness remained burning, which apparently led FBS to become First Place at the 27th Anniversary. Apparently, this news became even more encouraging when FBS achieved third place in faculty clustering at Undiksha.

Likewise, a member of the Cambodian Young Satria futsal team suffered an injury. This may already be a risk of a struggle.
