MICE Project, Demands Students Majoring in Foreign Languages ??Be More Professional in the Fields of Meetings, Incentives, Conventions, and Exhibitions

Singaraja, FBS – Department of Foreign Languages, Faculty of Languages ??and Arts Undiksha in the English Language Education Study Program and D4 English for Business and Professional Communication (BIKSPRO) held a MICE Project on Friday (23/12/2022). This activity was carried out in the Nitisastra FBS seminar room for the first time as a form of implementation of cross-study courses in the English Language Education Study Program.

The activity was officially opened by the BIKSPRO D4 Study Program Coordinator, Made Aryawan Adijaya, S.Pd., M.Pd. It is hoped that with the MICE project students will have the opportunity to present and develop their skills, professionalism, how to work together with members, and how to publish the latest information in social relations. Dr. Ni Luh Putu Sri Adnyani, S.Pd., M.Hum. who is a lecturer who teaches courses across MICE study programs who took part in preparing this activity, hopes that students will be more mature in planning and organizing meetings, conferences, or exhibitions where the products produced will be prepared for activities in the industrial sector.

Two resource persons were also invited to this activity, namely, I Made Suta Paramarta, S.Pd., M.Hum. and Gede Mahendrayana, S.Pd., M.Pd. Both are lecturers at the FBS Foreign Languages ??Department, Undiksha. This activity was divided into two parallel seminars where the participants came from the English Language Education Study Program and D4 Bikspro. Made Suta was the speaker in class F with the theme “English as a Foreign Language Teaching and Learning and Linguistics Studies, and Gede Mahendrayana was the speaker in class G with the material “ICT in English as a Foreign Language Learning” Hopefully this activity is useful for the students students as preparation to prepare themselves to work in the competitive industry in the future.
