Singaraja, FBS – Ganesha University of Education held the opening ceremony for the 2023 International Summer School Activities at the Undiksha Rectorate Building on Monday (24/7/2023). As one of the faculties at Undiksha, the Faculty of Languages ??and Arts also received visits from foreign students from the International Summer School. As a realization of the Internationalization at Home program at Ganesha Education University, on the first day, an Indonesian Language Class was held for foreign students in the IKI FBS Undiksha Classroom.

The Summer School activity, which will last for a week, will be attended by around 36 foreign students from China, Thailand, Malaysia, the Philippines, Timor Leste, and Taiwan. Tutors from Undiksha lecturers are also prepared who teach foreign students in Indonesian language and culture classes. Putu Ayu Prabawati Sudana, S.Pd., M.Hum., as one of the tutors and Secretary of the Undiksha Cooperation Agency, stated that the 2023 International Summer School activity, which carries the theme Culture, Heritage, Tourism, and Inclusive Community, aims to introduce language. and Indonesian culture, especially Balinese culture, and also introducing Undiksha to the international academic arena.

Not only carrying out Indonesian language classes, but later this Summer School activity will also invite foreign students to practice making canang, Balinese dance, megambel or percussion art, cooking classes, and how to dress properly and correctly in Balinese traditional clothes, where later these activities will be held at the Museum Buleleng and Puri Kanginan.
