Singaraja, 6 September 2023 – FBS Undiksha, Muhammadiyah University Cirebon (UMC), and Siliwangi University strengthen educational synergy by establishing an independent student exchange agreement. This collaboration aims to provide a broader and deeper learning experience for students while enriching academic diversity between these institutions.

In this exchange program, students from each university have the opportunity to take courses at partner universities for one semester. Undiksha, UMC, and Siliwangi University students can choose courses that suit their interests and fields of study at the host institution. FBS Undiksha was attended by 5 students from UMC and 2 students from Siliwangi University. Both agencies come from the English Language Education Study Program.

The arrival of these students was welcomed by the Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs, Dr. Ni Luh Putu Eka Sulistya Dewi, S.Pd., M.Pd. Iya said, “This independent student exchange is a strategic step to improve the quality of education in Indonesia. Through cross-university academic experiences, students will be able to develop broader skills and knowledge.”

UMC also welcomes this collaboration, believing that this student exchange program will broaden students’ horizons, build global character, and advance higher education in Indonesia.

Independent student exchange between FBS Undiksha, UMC, and Siliwangi University will begin in the Odd semester of FY 2023/2024. The hope is that this initiative will open the door to further collaboration and strengthen higher education networks in Indonesia.
