Singaraja, FBS – Department of Foreign Languages, Faculty of Languages ??and Arts Undiksha again held a workshop for training on ethics and professionalism in the world of work, this time with the theme“Elevate and Excel”: Mastering Grooming and Professional Etiquette in the Workfield. The workshop, which was held on Saturday (26/08/2023) in the NitisastraFBS room, presented two professional practitioners who have experience and have been involved in their fields for a long time. The first practitioner was the HRD Manager of Jumana Bali Ungasan Resort (LXR by Hilton) Agus Suariadi, S.Pd., and the second practitioner is Nyoman Maskumara Satriantari who is a makeup artist who will provide a workshop on grooming, how to make yourself look fresh in the world of work. Because in the world of work, a person is required to always look attractive and prime.

Dr. Ni Putu Era Marsakawati, S.Pd., M.Pd., who was the chairman of the committee for this workshop activity, said that this activity aimed to increase knowledge and skills in grooming ethics and the ability to communicate professionally. This activity is a routine activity carried out by the Foreign Languages ??Department every year. Reaffirmed by Deputy Dean I FBS Undiksha Dr. Ni Luh Putu Eka Sulistia Dewi, S.Pd., M.Pd. who also opened the event representing the Dean of FBS, he said that this workshop was important to carry out to achieve the vision or ideals in meeting targets in the world of work. How to bring up ethics and professionalism in the world of work.

This workshop was attended by 50 foreign language student participants, where Bikspro D4 Study Program students (English for Business and Professional Communication) were required to take part in this activity.

It is hoped that in the future, with activities like this, students will gain knowledge in the field of professional grooming and ethics from the start in the world of work. (FBS)
