Singaraja, FBS – Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) held its 68th graduation ceremony with a total of 1469 graduates in 2022. The graduation ceremony which was held at the Undiksha Auditorium building was not only for bachelor’s and master’s programs but also for doctoral programs. Through this Graduation Ceremony, this state university in North Bali is committed to producing graduates who are high quality and highly competitive.

At the graduation ceremony in August this year which was divided into two sessions, namely Thursday (25/8/2022) and Friday (26/8/2022), Undiksha presented 760 graduates, from 8 faculties and 1 Postgraduate. What makes this year’s graduating class proud is a student of the Faculty of Languages ??and Arts, Luh Putu Shanti Yuliastiti, S.Pd. managed to achieve the highest GPA of 3.93 with honors and was appointed by the university to represent the graduates to give a speech. Shanti in her speech expressed her gratitude and thanks for the success she has achieved to date. “Graduation is not the end; it’s the beginning,” he said, quoting wise words from Senator Orrin Hatch. This quote means that the graduation being celebrated today is the beginning of the next journey, to make a name for oneself in society, as part of the Ganesha University of Education.

As a university that is involved in the field of education, said Undiksha Chancellor Prof. Dr. I Nyoman Jampel, M.Pd., through this graduation, Undiksha is committed to producing graduates who are competent, superior, and have Pancasila character. To make this happen, his party does not only provide graduates with material. More fundamentally, it also takes the form of moral values ??for students, through “character education”, such as honesty, responsibility, sincerity, self-confidence, self-commitment, discipline, practicing good values ??, and loyalty to the nation and state. Not only do you want to produce smart human resources, but graduates must also be able to have good interpersonal skills (good character).

Meanwhile, especially for alumni, it is hoped that they can work together with the entire academic community in advancing the quality of the university so that it can compete at a wider level.

“We also believe that it is the success and achievements of these alumni that make Ganesha University of Education a destination for gaining knowledge for the wider community,” he said. (FBS)
