The AMI (Internal Quality Audit) document is an absolute document that every study program in higher education must have. This document is a reference document for preparing the accreditation form. Referring to the University’s future achievement targets, in 2024 Undiksha plans to become a University with a Legal Entity (PTN-BH) to fulfill this, one of the requirements is that 60 percent of the study programs owned by Undiksha must be accredited with Excellence. On this basis, FBS Undiksha carried out FGD activities to finalize the AMI Document which was held at the Sunari Lovina Hotel, on 15 September 2023.

In his speech, the Dean of FBS Undiksha I Gede Nurjaya said that this focused discussion or FGD activity was carried out as a milestone or first step towards re-accreditation of the Undiksha Faculty of Languages ??and Arts in 2024. And 2025 was set to be the year of accreditation and certification. Of course, this requires careful preparation to ensure the results that will be obtained in the future.

This activity, which was carried out in a hybrid manner, invited two resource persons, one resource person from internal Undiksha, I Gusti Nyoman Yudi Hartawan M.Sc. who explained the document on the details for filling in AMI., and a resource person from outside Undiksha, namely from Surabaya State University, Ayunia Liliana, S.S., M.Pd., who explained the mechanism for carrying out the audit.

Also invited to this activity were the Dean and his staff, Heads and Secretaries of Departments, Study Program Coordinators, GKM, representatives from each study program, and middle and young functional staff in the FBS environment. I Putu Indra Kusuma as chairman of the committee who is also chairman of GKM at FBS Undiksha conveyed the importance of AMI in measuring the quality of a university. When the quality of a university is good, it will have an impact on many things, one of which is being able to increase the accreditation of the study program itself, which can directly be one of the factors that can increase the number of interest in student admissions. It is hoped that activities like this can continue to be carried out to produce valid AMI documents so that the data is ready to be used as basic material for forms for accreditation. (FBS)
