In the framework of the XXVII DIES NATALIS, Undiksha held various competitions. One of them is faculty clustering. Grouping/Clustering is carried out to map faculty achievements and continuously improve their quality in implementing the PT Tridharma, including organizational health. In general, this faculty clustering is the same as the clustering carried out by the Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education (now the Ministry of Education and Culture) for all universities in Indonesia. The aim is to formulate characteristics of the quality of HEIs which have been documented in the database, map Indonesian higher education institutions under the auspices of the Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education, improve the quality of higher education institutions, become the basis for the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education to provide policies according to the capacity of each higher education cluster, formulate policies and develop higher education institutions. directed and in accordance with the conditions and needs of the PT, providing information to the general public regarding the performance of the PT.

Prof. Dr. I Made Sutama, M.Pd., along with the deans, in 2019 succeeded in bringing FBS to the third position in the Undiksha faculty clustering. There are several assessment components in this clustering, namely: a) Quality of human resources; b) Institutional Quality; c) Quality of Student Activities; and d) Quality of Scientific Research and Publications. Ranking universities based on quality and achievement is part of efforts to map and improve the quality of higher education. Faculties with good rankings will be encouraged to improve the quality of education and achievements. Meanwhile, faculties that have not yet been ranked can learn from faculties with better rankings to improve the quality and competitiveness of higher education in general. For this achievement, FBS Undiksha is entitled to receive grant funds of Rp. 50,000,000. In the future, the grant will be used to improve faculty achievement for the better.
