Singaraja, October 29, 2024 – The Faculty of Language and Arts (FBS) at Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) held its online Judicial session for this academic period. The event was attended by ten graduates from the English Language Education Study Program (8 graduates), Japanese Language Education Study Program (1 graduate), and Fine Arts Education Study Program (1 graduate). The session was led by the Dean of FBS, I Gede Nurjaya

In his speech, Nurjaya emphasized the importance of three key attitudes that graduates must possess to become dignified scholars: discipline, commitment, and responsibility. “Discipline enables individuals to complete their tasks efficiently, commitment fosters obedience to rules, and a well-developed sense of responsibility shapes individuals who are aware of their duties and obligations,” said Nurjaya.

He also encouraged  graduates to uphold the good name of their alma mater wherever they go and to contribute to the ongoing development of FBS and Undiksha. This message align with the FBS vision of becoming a center of excellence in the study of arts, languages, and culture in Southeast Asia.

The highest GPA in this period was achieved by Ni Komang Budianing from the English Language Education Study Program. Budianing expressed her gratitude, attributing her success to hard work and perseverance.

“I hope that FBS Undiksha graduates will become dignified scholars who are ready to face challenges for the advancement of the institutions and the nation,” she said. The judicial session highlighted FBS Undiksha’s dedication to producing competent and principled graduates who are prepared to contribute to the academic and professional world.
