March 4, 2024Increase Graduate Absorption: LPK Fuji Academy Bali Ready to Facilitate Graduates to Work in Japan
March 4, 2024In the context of developing target villages in 2024, the Faculty of Languages ??and Arts (FBS), Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha (Undiksha) will develop a faculty activity strategy that focuses on student activities so that students no longer only do activities on campus. For this reason, an assessment was carried out with the Les Village, Tejakula District, on February 24, 2024. This assessment was carried out by the Deputy Dean for Student Affairs, Alumni and Public Relations, FBS, Dr. I Nyoman Sila, M. Hum. along with the elected Chairman of the FBS Student Executive Board (BEM) accompanied by the three Heads of Department Associations within FBS who are also still in elected status because they are awaiting inauguration after the Student General Election. The reason for choosing Les Village as the location for the overall activities of the Assisted Village was to look at the potential of this village and the progress achieved as a village in the digital era, in addition to the openness of the village apparatus, in this case, the Les Village Perbekel, namely Gede Adi Wistara, S.H. The FBS team that came was received at Kura – Kura Beach, owned by Les Village Perbekel itself.
The discussion in this case concerns opportunities for collaboration within the framework of the Assisted Village where the faculty will develop various Tri Dharma Higher Education programs, especially community service and research. The pattern of activities developed is by mutually observing the programs between both parties. Based on this, several opportunities that have been discussed in the assessment are village promotion, web content development, literacy villages, MSME products, and environmental preservation. Apart from that, there are also arts and sports programs as well as community-based educational programs, considering that in the village there are already several formal schools such as elementary and middle schools. English language training also needs to be carried out to support the village-based tourism program that has been developing in Les Village. After this assessment, BEM will study to develop a student program that is relevant and in line with the results of discussions at subsequent stages with the village. In essence, the Tutoring Village Perbekel is very open and welcomes the exploration of this collaboration which will be carried out by preparing a program and then holding a joint meeting to discuss the implementation of the program, so that from the start this program has been a program of synergy and collaboration between the campus faculty and the village.
