Collaboration between FITK UIN Walisongo and FBS Undiksha: Strengthening the Vision of FBS Undiksha to become a Center of Excellence in the Fields of Language, Arts, and Culture.

To strengthen its position as a center of excellence in the fields of language, arts, and culture, the Faculty of Language and Arts (FBS) at Ganesha Education University (Undiksha) Bali has collaborated/cooperated with the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training (FITK) UIN Walisongo Semarang.

FITK UIN Walisongo’s visit to Undiksha on March 5 2024 was a valuable moment. FBS Undiksha with its achievements has become a magnet for other agencies/institutions/universities to be able to exchange experiences and collaborate. In the event which was attended by 150 students and 12 accompanying lecturers, the two institutions shared knowledge and experience in the fields of language, arts, and culture.

Prof. Dr. IGA Lokita Purnamika Utami, S.Pd., M.Pd. as Undiksha English Language Education Study Program Coordinator, welcomed the visit well. He stated that this collaboration not only enriches students’ academic experience but also strengthens FBS Undiksha’s position as a center of excellence in the fields of language, arts, and culture. In this meeting, there were also activities to exchange experiences and good practices that had been carried out by FBS Undiksha and FITK UIN Walisongo.

By expanding the collaboration network with FITK UIN Walisongo, FBS Undiksha hopes to continue to improve the quality of education, research, and community service in the fields that are its main focus. Through this collaboration, the two faculties are taking concrete steps in realizing their vision as a center of excellence that plays an important role in the development of language, arts, and culture in Indonesia.
