AKM FBS OPEN; THE DEAN OF FBS INVITES STUDENTS TO COMMIT AND COOPERATE

In commemoration of FBS Undiksha’s birthday, through BEM FBS Undiksha, the Student Creativity Event (AKM) will be held again in 2022. This activity is routinely held every year. However, this year is different, where AKM was originally carried out online due to the COVID outbreak that hit Indonesia, now AKM activities are carried out offline.

The Student Creativity Event lives up to its name, where in this activity students are encouraged to be creative, learn, work together, and commit so that the direction and goals of AKM can be achieved. This AKM activity is combined with several activities such as FBS EXPO, FBS Undiksha men’s and women’s selection, various competitions, and various art parades. This activity was opened by the Dean of FBS Undiksha, who also opened the FBS EXPO activities which took place at Wantilan Truna Jaya, on 10 November 2022

The contribution obtained from this AKM activity is very large, as evidenced by the large number of students involved in the committee. It was recorded that up to 200 students were involved as committee members in making this activity a success. The Dean from Ubud appreciated the students’ creativity, commitment, and hard work for the sustainability of this annual activity. The ornaments that decorate the stage are always different every year, this is proof of the creativity of new creations in each generation. “With AKM, students gain skills in solving problems, decision-making skills, self-control, commitment to carrying out tasks, and cooperation,” added Sutama. Sutama also invited all students to keep the campus clean and maintain and maintain the infrastructure used.

The opening of AKM was a warm welcome to the FBS EXPO activities. Also present were the Dean’s Leadership such as Deputy Deans 1, 2, and 3, Department Heads, Coordinators in each study program, functional officials of intermediate and young experts, and all BEM REMA and BEM functionaries in each Faculty.
