Kevin and Team Win Again International Award at Asean Innovation Science Environmental and Entrepreneur Fair (AISEEF) 2024

Another brilliant achievement was achieved by Undiksha Foreign Language Department students in the Asean Innovation Science Environmental and Entrepreneur Fair (AISEEF), which took place from 1 to 4 February 2024, at Diponegoro University. Five students from the English Language Education Study Program (PBI) achieved proud achievements by winning bronze medals. The five students are Ni Komang Diah Noviyanti, Putu Kevin Aditya, Komang Dede Arianata, Komang Gede Samudra Artajaya, and Ni Putu Prami Pradnyani.

This achievement was achieved through their project entitled ‘Gelato from Pedawa palm sugar’. The guidance project from the Foreign Languages ??Department Lecturer, Kadek Sintya Dewi, S.Pd., M.Pd., not only shows students’ skills and creativity but also provides innovative solutions for individuals suffering from diabetes.

Gelato from Pedawa palm sugar is not only a culinary creation, but also a solution that pays attention to health, especially for diabetes sufferers. By using palm sugar from Pedawa as the main ingredient, this gelato not only provides a variety of delicious flavors but is also low in sugar so it is safe for consumption by diabetics.

The success of this project is not only measured from the aspect of culinary creativity but is also in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) set by the UN. This project supports several SDGS goals, such as Goal 3 (Health and Well-being), goal 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), goal 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production), and Goal 17 (Partnership for the Goals).

This pride certainly provides added value for FBS Undiksha in SIMKATMAWA and increases KPI acquisition. Congratulations to Ni Komang Diah Noviyanti, Putu Kevin Aditya, Komang Dede Arianata, Komang Gede Samudra Artajaya, and Ni Putu Prami Pradnyani for their brilliant achievements in AISEEF 2024.
