AKAS and Reaccreditation Are the Focus Points at FBS Quality Control Group Meetings

The Quality Control Group for the Faculty of Languages ??and Arts (FBS) at Ganesha Education University (Undiksha) held a meeting to discuss future work plans. The meeting was attended by Deputy Dean I of FBS, Dr. Ni Luh Putu Eka Sulistia Dewi, S.Pd. M.Pd and Deputy Dean II FBS, Dr. I Putu Mas Dewantara, S.Pd., M.Pd. as a person in charge, group head and secretary, as well as a member of the FBS Quality Control Group. The meeting, which was held on Monday, January 29 2024 at 09.00 WITA, focused on achieving AQAS (Agency for Quality Assurance by Accreditation of Study Programs) and reaccreditation of several study programs at FBS.

During the meeting, Deputy Dean I, Dr. Ni Luh Putu Eka Sulistia Dewi, S.Pd. M.Pd said that two study programs were the focus of attention, namely the Balinese Language Education Study Program which still had conditional status, and Japanese Language Education which had pending status. Furthermore, Deputy Dean I of FBS directed all members of the FBS Quality Control Group to help realize the increase in accreditation to become a superior title. Apart from that, the D-III Study ProgramVisual Communication Design is also no less a focus for development to realize UndikshaPTN-BH (Legal Entity State University).

To realize the development focus points that have been mapped out, the head of the FBS quality control group, Dr. I Nyoman Yasa, S.Pd., M.A. said, “We can reflect on the way of work that was previously carried out because it was quite effective and efficient.” Going deeper, the chairman of the FBS Quality Control Group said that the key to realizing the target is the data that is used as material in the assessment matrix. Other study programs, such as Indonesian Language and Literature Education and English Language Education, are expected to maintain their superior accreditation predicate. The final hope conveyed by the head of the FBS quality control group, Dr. I Nyoman Yasa, S.Pd., M.A., is that everything that has been planned is expected to be completed next July.
