Singaraja-Buleleng is one of the districts in North Bali. From Denpasar, the distance is around 2.5 hours. This district, which was once the capital of Soenda Kecil, has a beautiful natural landscape. In the mountainous area, there are many natural attractions. There is agrotourism, waterfalls, and other tourist attractions. Beach tourism is also no less. There is Lovina Beach which is famous for its dolphin attractions. The underwater world is very enchanting. This natural wealth is also found in the areas of Pemuteran Village Menjangan Island, Gerokgak District, and Bondalem Village, Tejakula District, which have become international destination areas.

Apart from natural beauty, the atmosphere of the city is also quite comfortable. No traffic jams. In the surrounding area, there are also some historical buildings that are thick with culture. The cost of living in this small town is also still relatively cheap. The same is true for renting temporary housing. Very suitable for students.

Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) is one of the universities in this district. The location is in the city center. Having eight faculties, for the 2020/2021 academic year, this state university has prepared to accept new students. Registration is still open via the SBMPTN route, starting with LTMPT account registration from 7 February – 5 April 2020, registration for the Computer Based Writing Examination (UTBK) from 30 March – 11 April 2020, UTBK implementation from 20-26 April 2020 and the announcement of the results is scheduled for 12 May 2020. Meanwhile, SBMPTN registration will take place from 2-13 June 2020 and the selection results will be announced on 30 June 2020. The quota for this route is 40 percent of the total quota.

Apart from that, Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) also accepts students through the Joint Entrance Selection Independent Pathway (SMBJM), via the pagehttps://penerimaan.undiksha.ac.id. This pathway consists of special interests and talents for the D-3 program, registration for which has been open from 3 February to 9 April 2019. There is also a Computer Based Test (CBT) for the S-1 and D-3 pathways. Registration takes place from June 16 to July 17, 2020. This route has an overall quota of 30 percent.

As a university that plays a role in improving the quality of human resources, Undiksha offers affordable education costs. Apart from that, they also receive allocations for various types of scholarships, such as KIP College, banking scholarships, PPA, and district government scholarships. Apart from that, in 2020, a fast-track program in collaboration with Ming Chi University of Technology (MCUT), Taiwan. This program is an effort to accelerate Undiksha students to obtain bachelor’s degrees and master’s degrees. The implementation of this program is that for 3 years students will attend lectures at Undiksha and for 2 years they will carry out research (thesis) and study for a master’s degree at MCUT.(hms)
