Singaraja, FBS – The Student Mobility Program which has been successfully implemented by two students of the Japanese Language Education Study Program, namely Putu Ratih Megantari and Ayu Kristari Dewi Alit Mandala, has brought together institutions at Ohkagakuen University, Japan and now their arrival is warmly welcomed by the parties. The welcoming activity which was also accompanied by the opening of 8 (eight) students from the Japanese Language Education Study Program in the internship program was held in the Gayotra room of FBS, on Tuesday (23/08/2022).

This Internship Program is an extension of the Student Mobility Program which was previously implemented during the Covid-19 pandemic. In this 4th batch of internship program, eight students who are dispatched will carry out an internship for 1 semester, from August 28 to January 28, 2022, at the Nikko Alivila Hotel, Okinawa-Japan. Ni Nengah Suartini, S.S., M.A., Ph.D. Head of the FBS Cooperation Unit together as Made Hery Santosa, S.Pd, M.Pd., Ph.D. introduced the eight students who were about to depart and explained in detail how the internship program was going. It was also conveyed by the Head of the FBS Cooperation Unit from Bangli, that students who departed earlier in the program
student mobility received a very good appreciation and impression from the Ohkagakuen University.

In the speech of the Dean of the Faculty of Languages ??and Arts, Prof. Dr. I Made Sutama, M.Pd. expressed his pride and gratitude for this extraordinary award for FBS and the institution. “Don’t waste this golden opportunity,” he said in presenting the directions to the students who were present in the Gayotra room. That feeling of happiness returned in his speech because of the very proud appreciation from Ohkagakuen University which was conveyed directly to the Dean of FBS that Ohkagakuen was very grateful for sending excellent students.

Dewa Putu Ramendra, S.Pd., M.Pd. as Deputy Dean I of FBS and Dr. Drs. I Nyoman Sila, M.Hum., Deputy Dean III of FBS who also accompanied the Dean of FBS in the event, expressed his appreciation for the enthusiasm of students who took part in international programs for this semester. The Head of the Foreign Language Department and the Coordinator of the Japanese Language Education Study Program who also provided direction and motivation to students who had come or were about to depart for Okinawa, Japan.

Furthermore, the Coordinator of the Japanese Language Education Study Program, I Wayan Sadyana, S.S., M.Sc. emphasized that international experience is very important for students to increase the knowledge and culture that can be obtained in Japan, and this activity can be a liaison between Undiksha and universities in Japan by building good networks for students themselves and institutions.

Ratih and Ayu also expressed the hope that this student mobility activity can be used as well as possible to deepen the Japanese language as well as motivation to continue to improve self-quality and open up opportunities to achieve goals and be an inspiration for other students. (fbs)
