Singaraja, It has been exactly a year since Dewa Ananda’s management and it has become a test for the management of the Indonesian and Regional Language and Literature Department Student Association (HMJ BSID) Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha, Singaraja. However, unexpectedly, the pandemic changed human life on earth. A ready-made work program, drawn up just days before the pandemic. It never crossed anyone’s mind that the world would change. In all this uncertainty, Dewa Ananda runs a student organization at the department level, which consists of around 300 students.

February 20, 2021, Dewa Ananda and HMJ BSID administrators handed over the baton. The experience of a year of pandemic may be a bit of a guide for organizing an organization where almost all of its activities will be carried out virtually.

This succession event was attended by the Dean and Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Languages ??and Arts, department heads and secretaries, program coordinators, and some lecturers, as well as representatives of student organizations at FBS and Undiskha. In his remarks, the Dean of FBS, Prof. Dr. I Made Sutama, M.Pd., conveyed important emphasis regarding succession and the very heavy role of students currently in the university competition arena in Indonesia and abroad.

“Today you are holding a succession. This is a routine event. However, don’t think of this event as ordinary.” The Dean said, which felt very basic.

According to Prof. Sutama, succession is very important because it will produce leaders for the following year.
