FBS Welcomes La Rochelle University Students with Cultural and Academic Orientation

Singaraja, February 18, 2025 – Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha held a Welcoming and Orientation event to greet international students from La Rochelle University and a French language intern from Alliance Française Bali on Tuesday, February 18, 2025. The event took place at the Balingkang Auditorium, Undiksha Seminar Building.

The Faculty of Languages and Arts (FBS) officially welcomed two students from La Rochelle University, Lou Ann Tesson and Thibault Chauvet, who will be enrolled as students at FBS. The Vice Dean I of FBS, along with the Heads and Secretaries of the Foreign Language and Indonesian Language and Literature Departments, as well as the Coordinators of the English Language Education and Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Programs, conducted an academic orientation covering course introductions, campus culture, and dress code regulations. The students also participated in a campus tour to familiarize themselves with the university environment.

Additionally, a French language lecturer has joined the English Language Education Study Program this semester. This lecturer will teach French courses, providing students with an opportunity to learn a new language while deepening their understanding of French culture.
