FBS Undiksha Join the FBS Indonesia Forum in Gorontalo

The Indonesian Language and Arts Faculty Forum (FFBSI) which was coupled with national seminar activities in 2019 was held at Gorontalo State University (UNG). This forum took the theme “Language, Art and Design in the Era of Industrial Revolution 4.0” and was held from 3-6 September 2019 at the Horison Nayumi Hotel, Gorontalo. FFBSI is a routine agenda that is carried out every two years which involves the participation of the dean, deputy dean, head of department, department head, secretary, and unit managers who are members of the association. The aim of holding the forum is to share good practices in managing faculties, departments, and study programs. Apart from that, exploring ideas for improving the quality of management of faculties and study programs in the Era of Industrial Revolution 4.0. The types of activities are seminars and art performances that present competent speakers by the forum’s major themes and sub-themes. This forum was attended by all LPTKs throughout Indonesia that have similar faculties. Dean of FBS Undiksha, Prof. Dr. Putu Kerti Nitiasih, M.A., who is also the Chair of the FBSI Forum, in his speech and activity report said that this forum provides great benefits for faculty management and development. This year, FBS Undiksha sent 12 delegates to take part in the forum. On that occasion, Korprodi Pend. FBS Undiksha Indonesian Language and Literature, I Made Astika, S. Pd., M. A. was appointed as a speaker on the topic of revitalizing the new literacy-oriented PBSI curriculum. This forum activity will close with a culture night, namely an art performance from each delegation.
