FTK UIMSYA Visits FBS Undiksha: Academic Synergy for Quality Education Enhancement

Singaraja, February 14, 2025 – The Faculty of Languages and Arts (FBS) Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) held its first judicum of 2025 on Friday, February 14, 2025. The virtual ceremony marked a history milestone for 42 graduates who officially earned their academic degrees.
The graduates came from various study programs: Indonesian Language and Literature Education (9 graduates), English Language Education (26 graduates), Japanese Language Education (4 graduates), D4 English for Business and Professional Communication (2graduates), and Fine Arts Education (1 graduate).
Vice Dean I of FBS, Dr. Ni Luh Putu Eka Sulistia Dewi, S.Pd., M.Pd., representing the Dean of FBS highlighted the significance of this judicium coinciding with Valentine’s Day. This special moment symbolizes a journey of dedication, perseverance, and support from families, friends, and mentors who have accompanied the graduates throughout their academic journey.
She also emphasized the importance of communication, collaboration, and creativity as essential skills for professional success. “We hope that FBS graduates will become resilient and independent individuals who continuously strive for self-development and contribute to society,” she stated.
Among the graduates, Luh Nityaswari Laba from the English Language Education program achieved the highest GPA of 3.98, earning the Cum Laude distinction. Nitya was part of the fast-track (3+2) program, an elite academic pathway that allows students to complete their bachelor’s degree in three years at Undiksha before continuing their master’s degree for two years at MCUT, Taiwan.
In her testimony, Nitya expressed gratitude for her challenging yet rewarding academic journey and shared her aspiration for continued growth and learning in the future.
