Undiksha’s Main PPID Visits FBS to Strengthen Public Information Transparency
March 19, 2025Gianyar, February 10, 2025 – In an effort to enhance access to higher education information for prospective students, the New Student Admissions (PMB) Team of the Faculty of Languages and Arts (FBS) Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) conducted and outreach program across Gianyar Regency/ As part of their promotion and socialization strategy, the team visited four schools from Sukawati to Tampaksiring, including SMK Negeri 2 Sukawati, SMK Negeri 3 Sukawati, SMA Negeri 1 Tampaksiring, and SMK Sanjiwani.
During these visits, the PMB team provided comprehensive information about academic programs, scholarship opportunities, campus facilities, and career prospects for graduates. Additionally, students gained insights into student exchange programs and internship opportunities, which can enhance their skills and competitiveness in the job market.
The first stop was at SMK Negeri 2 Sukawati, where the team was warmly welcomed by Principal I Made Soma, S.T., M.Pd. In a discussion held at the principal’s office, he expressed his appreciation for Undiksha’s proactive approach in engaging with prospective students and emphasized the importance of collaboration between universities and high schools in nurturing a competitive and competent young generation.
The enthusiasm of students was evident during the information session, where they actively asked questions about the university’s academic system, career prospects after graduation, and student life at Undiksha. The PMB team also highlighted that vocational graduates have significant opportunities to pursue higher education and are not solely limited to entering the workforce.
Following the visit to SMK Negeri 2 Sukawati, The team continued their outreach to SMK Negeri 3 Sukawati, SMA Negeri 1 Tampaksiring, and SMK Sanjiwani. In each school, the team emphasized that FBS Undiksha’s academic programs are designed to equip students with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills relevant to the creative industry and the education sector.
The event concluded with a group photo session between the PMB team and school representatives, symbolizing a strong collaboration in encouraging students to pursue higher education. This initiative not only serves as a promotional effort but also reaffirmed FBS Undiksha’s commitment to ensuring widespread access to higher education information for prospective students.
