FBS Undiksha Honors Two Art and Design Department Lecturers on Their Retirement After 38 Years of Service

Singaraja, October 31, 2024 – The Faculty of Language and Arts (FBS) at Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) held a heartfelt retirement ceremony to honor two esteemed lecturers from the Fine Arts Education Study Program, Drs. Agus Sudarmawan, M.Si., and Drs. Jajang S., M.Sn., who have dedicated 38 years of service to the institution. The event took place in the FBS common room, attended by colleagues, academic staff, and faculty members, creating a warm and emotional atmosphere.

In his speech, the Dean of FBS, Drs. I Gede Nurjaya, M.Pd., expressed his deepest gratitude and appreciation for the exceptional dedication and contribution of both lecturers. “This ceremony is a token of our gratitude for their invaluable contributions, both in nurturing future generations of talented individuals and in advancing the development of the Art and Design Department,” said Nurjaya.

Throughout their careers, Agus Sudarmawan and Jajang S. have been widely recognized as inspirational figures for both students and colleagues in the field of art. Their commitment to education and their passion for the art have left a lasting legacy with the academic community. The Dean further noted that their exemplary dedication serves as an inspiration for the entire FBS academic community to continue striving for excellence.

The event was graced by the presence of the Vice Dean, Heads and Secretaries of Departments, Study Program Coordinators, as well as lecturers and staff from the Department of Art and Design, adding to the warmth and heartfelt emotions of this special farewell moment.
