PMM Students from Pahlawan Tuanku Tambusai University Return to Riau After One Semester at FBS Undiksha

Singaraja, December 27, 2024 – The Faculty of Language and Arts (FBS) at Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) held a heartfelt release ceremony for students participating in the Merdeka Student Exchange Program (PMM) from Pahlawan Tuanku Tambusai University, Riau. A total of six students from the English Education Study Program successfully completed one semester of study at FBS Undiksha. 

The ceremony was officiated by the Dean of FBS, I Gede Nurjaya, accompanied by the Vice Dean I of FBS and the Secretary of the Foreign Language Department. The students honored in this event were Ruhillah Naila Syahlum, Indah Damai Sari, Zahwa Jastina, Novrah Safitri, Alvino Danierta, and M. Rezki Ramdhan.

In his speech, the Dean of FBS, I Gede Nurjaya, expressed his appreciation and delivered an inspiring message encouraging the students to always uphold the good name of FBS Undiksha wherever their future endeavors may lead them “This program not only offers academic benefits but also fosters inter-institutional networks that can create future collaboration opportunities,” he stated. 

Nurjaya further emphasized the importance of inter-university relationships established through the PMM program. “Through student exchange programs like this, Undiksha can expand its network of partners, which will significantly support the institution’s growth and development in the future,” he added.

The release ceremony was filled with a sense of pride and hope, symbolizing the strong bonds formed during the exchange. It is expected that the PMM program will continue to serve as a solid bridge for fostering strategic collaborations between educational institutions, contributing to the advancement of education in Indonesia.
