The Japanese Language Education Study Program (PBJ) of the Faculty of Language and Arts (FBS) at Undiksha recently held a cultural exchange event with Tohoku Gakuin University, attended by 9 students from Japan. Titled “Cultural Exchange Between Ganesha University and Tohoku Gakuin University 2024,” the event spanned two days. On September 10, 2024, at the Faculty of Language and Arts (FBS), Tohoku Gakuin University Students presented their university and Japanese cultural festivals to second-year PBJ Undiksha students. This was followed by group discussions on Japanese and Balinese culture.

On the next day, the activity continued at Penimbangan Beach, where students from both universities participated in releasing 150 sea turtle hatchlings. Afterward, the students engaged in discussions focusing on cultural aspects related to environmental conservation. This event is expected to strengthen cultural exchange and expand international collaboration, aligning with FBS Undiksha’s commitment to establishing partnerships with international institutions.
