The Enthusiasm of Foreign Language Students at FBS Undiksha for Environmental Preservation in “Great Day”

October 29, 2024Singaraja, August 12, 2024 – The Art Education Study Program at the Faculty of Language and Arts (FBS), Undiksha, held an art exhibition titled “First Action” at the Paduraksa Gallery Room. This exhibition is marking a resurgence of artistic creativity in celebration of Independence Month after being postponed due to the pandemic.
The Rector of Undiksha, I Wayan Lasmawan, expressed his happiness in his opening speech, highlighting that this initiative aligns with Undiksha’s vision of becoming a State University with Legal Entity (PTN BH), a goal that requires creative and managerial innovation. He noted that the exhibition brings messages and meanings that can help increase Undiksha’s recognition within the community. He also expects that similar exhibitions can become an annual event, serving as a platform for both Undiksha and external artists to showcase their artwork and a regular agenda for Balinese and even international artists.
The Dean of FBS, I Gede Nurjaya, added that this exhibition will continue as a routine event to support FBS’s vision of being an excellent center for language, art, and culture. “First Action” brought together artists, faculty members, students, and alumni, providing a platform for artistic expression for the Undiksha and Balinese artists in general.
