Undiksha, which is part of the LPTK in Indonesia, attended the Forum activities which are held every 2 years. This time the Forum was held in Surabaya, precisely at the Westin and Four Point by Sheraton Surabaya hotels. This national-scale activity is a place for participants to collaborate to accelerate and progress a performance target.

Following the theme “Responding to the Latest Policies and Developments for the Advancement of the Fields of Language, Literature, Arts and Teaching” where language is an important subject in education. In line with this, the Chancellor of Surabaya State University (Unesa) Prof. Dr. Nurhasan, M. Kes responds and supports the role of language both on a national and international scale. In improving the quality of Indonesian language and literature, a special formula is needed, which requires courage and unity involving real action so that Indonesian can be transformed into an international language. “We need innovation so that our language becomes an international language,” he added.

The activities carried out over 3 days resulted in several decisions and ideas that were agreed upon by the LPTK. From the results of an interview with the chairman of FFBSI in 2022. Prof. Nonny Basalama, Ph.D. Some of the results of decisions and concentrations from this Forum were presented, including strengthening study program synergies in developing MBKM curriculum collaboration, preparing study program synergies in preparing and implementing national and international accreditation, preparing support systems for learning that integrates MBKM, collaboration between faculties, increasing income. generating includes single curriculum alignment and transfer credits.

The Dean of FSB from Gorontalo State University hopes that through the Indonesian FBS Forum, stronger collaborative relationships, and cooperation, can be established to achieve the goal of aligning ourselves to achieve the same standards in learning, especially the Tri Dharma of each Faculty, Department, and Study Program in each. 12 LPTKs.

Seeing the importance of this activity, the Dean of FBS Undiksha, Prof. Dr. I Made Sutama, M.Pd. brought in all Faculty Leaders starting from the Dean, Deputy Dean, Head of Department, Coordinator of Study Programs along with several educational staff. Those involved in this forum are expected to be able to know the best practices in various places for the sake of our progress and development together both at FBS Undiksha and in Undiksha.
